702 KAR 4:180.Implementation guidelines - Kentucky School Facilities Planning Manual.
Section 1.
A school district shall develop a local District Facilities Plan once every four (4) years in accordance with the schedule set by the Commissioner of Education. The Kentucky Board of Education shall approve the District Facilities Plan submitted by the district upon the recommendation of the Commissioner of Education.Section 2.
A District Facilities Plan, and requested amendments thereto, shall be developed in accordance with the standards and hearing procedures contained in the "Kentucky School Facilities Planning Manual," June 2008.Section 3.
The District Facilities Plan shall remain in effect until any changes have been approved by the Kentucky Board of Education.Section 4.
The adopted District Facilities Plan shall become the facilities plan of the local school district and shall be implemented to the extent that the financial ability of the district permits as determined by the Commissioner of Education and the School Facilities Construction Commission. The scope of any construction project recommended in the District Facilities Plan shall remain in effect until any changes have been approved by the Kentucky Board of Education.Section 5.
