780 KAR 6:040.Special appointments.
Section 1.
Detail to Special Duty.(1)
If the services of a limited or continuing status employee are needed in the unclassified service, the employee may be detailed to that position for a period not to exceed one (1) year with prior approval of the executive director contingent upon approval of the secretary of the cabinet and the Governor.(2)
For detail to special duty, the executive director may waive the minimum requirements.(3)
The employee shall retain status in the certified and equivalent service.Section 2.
Dual Appointments.(1)
The executive director may authorize the appointment of an employee serving in two (2) positions.(2)
