Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 164.4781 to permit the establishment of an interpreter training program for the deaf and hard of hearing at more than one public institution of higher education; delete language requiring the Council on Postsecondary Education to establish the program at an institution that has demonstrated expertise in training interpreters and providing support services for deaf and hard of hearing students; delete language requiring the university to implement an extension interpreter training program that will move to different sites throughout the state from year to year.
