Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 413.140 and 413.090 to reduce the statute of limitations for filing an action for a deficiency judgment after a foreclosure sale of real estate from 15 years to one year from the date of sale; amend KRS 426.520 to require the plaintiff in a foreclosure action to serve notice to the defendant of a deficiency within one year of the initial filing of the foreclosure if the property sells for two-thirds of the appraisal.
