Summary of Original Version Create new sections of KRS Chapter 216B to establish a process to designate a lay caregiver to be contacted upon discharge from a hospital; provide instructions to designated lay caregiver; provide that the designation of a lay caregiver not interfere with the provisions of a living will; provide that compliance or noncompliance does not constitute a private right of action or standard of care.
