| Summary of Original Version | Create new sections of KRS Chapter 12 to declare legislative policy and intent; require administrative regulations to include statements on why the regulation is necessary and to describe how the administrative regulation is narrowly tailored to avoid unnecessary barriers to market entry in the regulatory impact analysis; allow certain administrative bodies to request administrative services from the Department of Professional Licensure; describe those administrative services and allow the department to charge a reasonable fee; allow administrative bodies to authorize staff to approve or deny license requests; require each administrative body to maintain a register and to issue a yearly report to the Governor and the Legislative Research Commission; require administrative bodies to provide at least 30 days' notice of license renewal date and to inform those whose licenses have expired within 30 days of expiration; provide immunity from civil action if members of an administrative body act in good faith within the scope of their duties; amend KRS 309.0813, 309.304, 313.020, 319.030, 320.240, 335.320, 335.615, and 312.175 to conform. |
