Summary of Original Version | Create new sections of KRS Chapter 337 to require employers to give employees a written good-faith estimate of the employee's work schedule at the time of hire, maintain a voluntary standby list of employees who wish to work additional hours, post weekly work schedules at least seven days in advance, and provide certain rest periods for employees, during which the employee is not scheduled; provide that an employee may identify time limitations for scheduling work hours; establish the rate of compensation to be paid if an employer changes the schedule; set forth unlawful practices; amend KRS 337.990 to establish a penalty for violations of Sections 1 to 8 of this Act. |
