Summary of Original Version Direct the Energy and Environment Cabinet to study the economic impact of renewable energy portfolio standards and other renewable energy policies in all states and to provide recommendations on the applicability and feasibility of adopting new renewable energy policies that support economic growth in Kentucky; submit findings and recommendations regarding the implementation of renewable portfolio standards and other renewable energy policies in Kentucky and the resulting economic impact on the Commonwealth to the Governor, the Legislative Research Commission, and the Interim Joint Committee on Natural Resources and Energy by July 1, 2021.
