Summary of Original Version Create a new section of Subtitle 17A of KRS Chapter 304 to require health insurance policies not exempt from state regulation under federal law to apply the fair market value of covered health care services received by a covered person at a no-cost or reduced-cost health facility to any deductible or out-of-pocket maximum owed by the covered person under the policy; create a new section of Subtitle 17C of KRS Chapter 304 to apply those provisions to limited health service benefit plans, including limited health service contracts defined in KRS 304.38A-010; amend KRS 18A.225 to require the state employee health plan to comply; EFFECTIVE January 1, 2021.
