Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 118A.060, 118A.090, and 118A.100 to remove provisions that elections of Judges of the Court of Appeals and Justices of the Supreme Court shall be conducted on a nonpartisan basis; provide that elections for a Judge of the Court of Appeals or a Justice of the Supreme Court be conducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 118; provide for continued election of Judges of the Circuit Court and District Court to be on a nonpartisan basis; amend KRS 117.125, 117.315. 118.165, 118A.150, and KRS 118A.190 to conform; EFFECTIVE November 8, 2022, only if voters ratify a proposed constitutional amendment providing for the partisan election of Judges of the Court of Appeals and Justices of the Supreme Court. |
