Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 118A.060, 118A.090, and 118A.100 to remove provisions that elections of Judges of the Court of Appeals and Justices of the Supreme Court shall be conducted on a nonpartisan basis; provide that elections for a Judge of the Court of Appeals or a Justice of the Supreme Court be conducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 118; provide for continued election of Judges of the Circuit Court and District Court to be on a nonpartisan basis; amend KRS 117.125, 117.315. 118.165, 118A.150, and KRS 118A.190 to conform; EFFECTIVE November 8, 2022, only if voters ratify a proposed constitutional amendment providing for the partisan election of Judges of the Court of Appeals and Justices of the Supreme Court.
