Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 205 to require the Department for Medicaid Services to request approval of a Medicaid state plan amendment from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that exempts individuals who have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer from meeting spend-down requirements in order to be eligible for Medicaid services within 30 days of the effective date of this Act.
