| Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 217.2202 to eliminate the prohibition on kratom extracts and kratom products that contain greater than two percent 7-hydroxymitragynine; amend KRS 217.2203 to establish that products that contain greater than two percent 7-hydroxymitragynine shall comply with labeling requirements for kratom products but shall not be labeled or marketed as a kratom product; amend KRS 217.2205 to establish that that products that contain greater than two percent 7-hydroxymitragynine shall be subject to administrative regulations promulgated by the Department for Public Health, except the department shall not require those products to be labeled as a kratom product or as containing kratom extracts. |
