Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 278 to create feed-in tariffs, set by the Public Service Commission, for sources of renewable electric generation; direct the commission to set a standard rate for each source of renewable electricity; amend KRS 278.465 and 278.466 to increase the allowable capacity of a customer generation unit from 30 kilowatts to 50 kilowatts and to raise the amount of net-metering permissible for each retail electric supplier before it can petition the commission to limit new net metering.
