704 KAR 5:060.Entrance of five (5) year olds into primary school program for compulsory attendance purposes.
Section 1.
Any five (5) year old child not otherwise subject to compulsory attendance laws, but who voluntarily enrolls in the primary school program at the beginning of the school year, may upon parental or guardian's written request be withdrawn from the program at any time within the first two (2) school calendar months, at the end of such trial period of time such a child shall be considered irrevocably entered into the primary school program for purposes of KRS 159.010 and 159.020.HISTORY: (15 Ky.R. 1194; eff. 12-2-1988; 17 Ky.R. 2057; eff. 2-7-1991; Crt eff. 11-16-2018.)
