Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 117.235 to allow a person to present evidence of electioneering by a candidate to a law enforcement officer or county attorney for prosecution under KRS 117.995 and to require prosecution; amend KRS 117.995 to make a candidate who knowingly and willfully violates the electioneering prohibitions guilty of a Class A misdemeanor for a first offense and a class D felony for each subsequent offense.
