| Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 243.884 to deposit two percent of the wholesale sales tax on beer, wine, and distilled spirits in the substance abuse intervention fund; create a new section of KRS 222.430 to 222.437 to create that fund; amend KRS 222.432 to allow the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to guarantee payment for treatment if funds are available and the petitioner's income level is at or below 200 percent of poverty level; EFFECTIVE July 1, 2009. |
