Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 163.510 to require the Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to advise the Commission on Human Rights on adequate technological means of providing closed captioning for motion picture theaters; amend KRS 344.130 to require movie theaters with five or more screens to provide closed captioning for deaf and hard of hearing persons; amend KRS 344.190 to require the Commission on Human Rights to review and approve available closed captioning technologies and set the minimum numbers of closed captioned showings of a movie which must be offered at each covered theater.
