| Summary of Original Version | Create a new section of KRS 217.280 to 217.390 to define "food facility," "calorie content information," "drive-through," "menu board," "nutritional information," "point of sale," and "standard menu item"; establish that food facilities operating in the Commonwealth shall provide dietary information for all standard menu items sold on menus and indoor and outdoor menu boards; require menus and menu boards to include the total calorie content information; permit food facilities to provide additional nutrition information to customers; establish that violators shall be fined no less than $100 and no more than $1,000 for each violation. |
