Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 161.048 to establish an alternative teacher certification option for Teach for America participants under certain conditions; provide that this option shall be considered a pilot program and an option during the time period from the effective date of this Act until the Race to the Top funding program under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is completed; permit the option to continue by promulgation of an administrative regulation by the Education Professional Standards Board.
