| Summary of Original Version | Create new sections of KRS 224.70 to define "public water system," and "Tier 2 and Tier 3"; require public water system owners or operators to report Tier 3 violations within 30 days; require violations be posted on the owner or operator's Internet Web site; if a Web site does not exist, require notification to customers upon written or oral request; allow the Energy and Environment Cabinet to promulgate administrative regulations to administer the notification process; clarify that the requirements for Tier 3 notifications are supplementary and do not impair or supersede federal national drinking water standards. |
