| Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 186.412 to require persons who are 80 years of age or older and wish to renew an operator's license to present a letter from a licensed physician attesting that the applicant does not have a medical condition that would impair his or her ability to drive, and either present a letter from a licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist attesting that the applicant passed a vision acuity examination using the standards established in Section 2 of this Act no longer than 90 days prior to renewal or pass a visual acuity examination administered using the standards established in KRS 186.577, prior to renewal; amend KRS 186.577 to include the visual acuity examination requirement established in Section 1 of this Act. |
