| Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 186.162 to establish a Gold Star Sibling special license plate and set forth required fees; provide Disabled Veterans license plates at no charge to veterans with a 50% or greater service-connected disability; amend KRS 186.166 to provide for perpetual production of the Gold Star Sibling special license plates; amend KRS 186.164 to require the Transportation Cabinet to promulgate regulations outlining documentation required to receive a Gold Star Sibling special license plate; limit eligibility for a Gold Star Sibling special license plate to siblings of service members whose mothers are eligible for membership in the Gold Star Mothers of America; delay effective date until January 1, 2013. |
