Summary Provides a sales tax refund for the purchase of building materials to repair or replace a building damaged or destroyed during a disaster; requires the commissioner of education to waive up to ten instructional days for a school district located in a county in which a disaster has been declared; allows a school district located in a county in which a disaster has been declared to substitute attendance data for school year 2010-2011 for attendance data for school year 2011-2012 for the purpose of calculating support education excellence in Kentucky funds; requires that certified and classified personnel of a school district located in a county in which a disaster has been declared to make up any student instructional days waived by participating in instructional activities or professional development or by being assigned additional work responsibilities; applies retroactively to the disaster occurring on February 29, 2012 to March 3, 2012; declare an EMERGENCY.
