Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS 65.003 to 65.158 to allow the legislative bodies of counties, charter counties, urban-county governments, unified local governments, and consolidated local governments to adopt ordinances specifying the duties of constables; provide that duties shall not exceed those in the KRS, nor shall all duties be removed; provide that any changes of duties that relate to compensation not take effect until after the terms of constables serving at the time of adoption.
