Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 156.660 to define "digital citizenship" as a set of characteristics that conceptualize the rewards as well as risks facing all technology users; set forth the characteristics; amend KRS 156.675 to require the Kentucky Board of Education to promulgate administrative regulations to require that each local school board implement an acceptable use policy that requires all school district employees who use technology to comply with the policy which shall include the characteristics of digital citizenship; amend KRS 156.095 to include technology and the characteristics of digital citizenship in the professional development activities which shall be provided for teachers; and amend KRS 158.148 to require local school districts to include in their student behavior codes behavior as it relates to being a good digital citizen.
