Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 189 to establish exemptions allowing the operation of a mini-truck on a public highway or roadway or the right-of-way of any public highway or roadway; permit operation of a mini-truck by persons possessing a valid operator's license who are crossing a two-lane public highway with a mini-truck if travel is two-tenths of a mile or less or who are engaged in farm or agricultural-related activities, construction, road maintenance, or snow removal; require mini-truck operators to comply with applicable traffic regulations; restrict operation of mini-trucks to daylight hours, except when engaged in snow removal or emergency road maintenance.
