Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 194A.135 to delete the requirement that the Commonwealth Council on Developmental Disabilities appoint a subcommittee including members of the Kentucky Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorders to monitor the state plan and submit reports; create a new section of KRS Chapter 194A to establish the Advisory Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders; repeal KRS 194A.620 and KRS 194A.622; and confirm Executive Order 2013-805.

Summary Retain original provisions, except add a representative from the Education Professional Standards Board, a representative from The Arc of Kentucky, and a consumer representative to the Advisory Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders; clarify that the representative from the University of Kentucky does not have to come from the Human Development Institute; and permit funds requested to be designated to third party entities for outreach, education, and service provision.
