Summary of Original Version Create new sections of KRS Chapter 6 to define terms; limit the authority of Kentucky delegates to United States Constitutional convention to consider single amendments; specify that the delegate's vote will be void if the delegate votes for any amendment other than the one authorized in 2015 RS BR 1326; prescribe an oath to be taken by the delegate and provide for penalties for violation of the oath; require the Secretary of State to provide credentials for delegates and authorize the Secretary of State to promulgate administrative regulations for selection of alternate delegates; specify that unauthorized amendments shall not be recognized under Kentucky law nor considered or ratified by the General Assembly; provide for enforcement of provisions of this Act by the Attorney General, the Legislative Research Commission, or private citizens; name the Act the "Convention Delegate Fidelity and Single Amendment Limitation Act of 2015."
