Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 116 to require the State Board of Elections to establish an electronic voter registration system; amend KRS 116.045 to conform and to require each county clerk's office to post notice of the means by which a person may register to vote; amend KRS 116.0452 to specify an electronic application is deemed received when the applicant receives confirmation the form has been forwarded to the county clerk; amend KRS 116.0455 to require each circuit clerk's office and any satellite office that accepts motor vehicle driver's license applications to post notice of the means by which a person may register to vote; amend KRS 116.048 to require designated voter registration agencies to post notice of the means by which a person may register to vote; and require the electronic voter registration system to be implemented by January 1, 2016.
