Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 189 to require the Transportation Cabinet to establish a permit process for overdimensional permits for the transportation of steel products within the state of not more than a ten-mile radius from the manufacturing facility; establish maximum dimensions for vehicles operating under a permit; allow operation under a permit 24 hours a day; set fee for an annual permit at $250; amend KRS 189.270 to conform.
