Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 11 to require the Historic Properties Advisory Commission to provide appropriate public education regarding items related to the Confederate States of America, African-American history, Native American history, and the history of other ethnic, cultural, or religious groups having a presence in the Commonwealth and on public display; create a new section of KRS Chapter 148 to require the Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet to provide appropriate public education regarding items related to the Confederate States of America, African-American history, Native American history, and the history of other ethnic, cultural, or religious groups having a presence in the Commonwealth and on public display; create a new section of KRS Chapter 171 to require the Department for Libraries and Archives to provide appropriate public education regarding items related to the Confederate States of America, African-American history, Native American history, and the history of other ethnic, cultural, or religious groups having a presence in the Commonwealth and on public display; define certain terms.
