Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 304.17A-165 to prohibit insurers from requiring the use of mail-order pharmacies and prohibit a difference in cost-sharing between retail and mail-order pharmacies; amend KRS 18A.225 to require any plan offered by the Personnel Cabinet to prohibit the requirement of mail-order pharmacies, and to prohibit a difference in cost-sharing; amend KRS 205.522 to require a managed care organization that provides Medicaid benefits from requiring the use of mail-order pharmacies and prohibit a difference in cost-sharing between retail and mail-order; EFFECTIVE January 1, 2018.
