Summary Amend KRS 342.630, definition of employer, to clarify that a private homeowner or person with no other employees that hires a person to perform maintenance, repair, remodeling, lawn services, or similar work for not more than 20 days on a private home or on the premises of a business that employs no other workers subject to workers' compensation laws or a person who hires less than two full time domestic servants would not be an employer under KRS Chapter 342.
