Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 141 to provide taxpayers the option to donate to the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program fund from their individual income tax refund; require the Department of Revenue to place the designation on the face of the Kentucky individual income tax return; provide information about the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program fund in the return's instructions; transfer the funds designated by taxpayers to the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program fund by July 1 of this year; create a new section of KRS Chapter 186 to provide for a Colon Cancer Prevention special license plate; amend KRS186.162 to establish the initial fee and renewal fee for the special license plate and transfer funds collected by the special license plate fees to the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program fund.
