Summary of Original Version | Propose to amend to Section 170 of the Constitution of Kentucky to increase the homestead exemption from the current inflation-adjusted amount of $39,300 to the full assessed value of the real property up to an assessed valuation of $100,000, indexed every two years, for owners with a permanent and total 100 percent service-connected disability rating by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs; make the exemption transferrable upon death to the surviving spouse; add the continued biennial inflation indexing of the homestead exemption amount; make various typographical changes of a nonsubstantive nature; state ballot question; submit to voters. |
