Summary of Original Version Create new sections of KRS Chapter 15A to create the Office of Child and Family Advocacy, the Child and Family Advocacy Commission, and the child and family advocate position to provide a state-sponsored and controlled system for training and appointing guardians ad litem and counsel for minors and disabled adults; amend KRS 49.120, 209.110, 353.260, 387.305, 387.560, 392.140, and 620.100 to cap guardian ad litem or counsel fees to $500; amend various statutes to conform; Sections 4 to 28 EFFECTIVE July 1, 2021; APPROPRIATION.
