Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 304.47-055 to permit the insurance commissioner to share and receive certain documents, materials, and other information with the National Insurance Crime Bureau; amend KRS 304.47-060 to provide that a person shall not be subject to civil liability for information relating to suspected fraudulent insurance acts furnished to or received from the National Insurance Crime Bureau; repeal and reenact KRS 304.20-410 to require motor vehicle insurance companies to give appropriate discounts on comprehensive coverage for certain insured motor vehicles with an antitheft device or mechanism; amend KRS 304.13-065 to conform; repeal 304.20-400, 304.20-420, 304.20-430, 304.20-440, and 304.20-450, relating to insurance discounts for antitheft devices; provide that the changes to antitheft device discounts on comprehensive motor vehicle coverage shall apply to motor vehicle policies issued or renewed on or after the effective date of this Act.
