Summary Retain original provisions; provide that a local board of education determines the method for evaluating whether a student is on track to graduate; provide that a student who has attained a High School Equivalency Diploma in accordance with the Act is exempt from compulsory attendance; require a local school board to adopt a policy to define when a student is not on track to graduate, provide that the KBE cannot impose restrictions or requirements on the content of the local policy.
