| Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 158.6453 to define a "series of interim assessments"; provide that the statewide assessment program may be composed of a series of interim assessments if approved by the United States Department of Education; require the results of an assement that is part of a series of summative assessments to be reported to the school within one month of the assessment date; make conforming amendments; require the commissioner of education to apply to the United States Department of Education for a waiver to the requirement of a single, summative assessment required by the Every Student Succeeds Act; EMERGENCY. |
