Summary of Original Version | Create a new section of KRS Chapter 216B to define "covenant not to compete," "employee," and "health service provider"; prohibit a health service provider receiving 10 percent or more of its total gross revenue from state general funds from requiring an employee to enter a covenant not to compete; set forth civil remedy, damages that can be recovered, and limitations to bring claim; require notice of prohibited convenant not to compete be posted by the health service provider; prohibit an employer from retaliating against an employee for bringing a civil action; prohibit any covenant not to complete in effect before the effective date of this Act from being renewed. |
