Summary of Enacted Version Amends KRS 61.637 and 78.5540 to require the Department of Education to pay to the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority (KPPA) the health insurance premium reimbursements required for retirees who participated in a hazardous position prior to July 1, 2003, and are reemployed by a local school board; and amends KRS 161.158 to provide that local school board employees who are retirees who participated in a hazardous position prior to July 1, 2003, shall have the cost of their retiree health insurance reimbursed to KPPA.
