Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 18A.110 directing the Personnel Cabinet to promulgate administrative regulations requiring new employee compensation after the probationary period to not exceed or equal to an incumbent employee salary in the same job classification, work county, and department or office without adjustment of incumbent employee salaries in the same position job class; Evaluate and calculate salary adjustment of incumbent employees in the same job classification series; amend KRS 18A.140 to remove prohibition of classified employee to participate as a member of local political party committee or member of a partisan political club, or candidate for nomination or election to any paid partisan public office, and amend definition to prohibit participation in management of any political party in political campaigns to statewide constitutional offices; amend KRS 18A.355 to change the state employee annual increment to two percent.
