Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 158 to require the cabinet to develop a plan for children to be screened for autism spectrum disorders at 18 months, three years, upon enrollment in school, and in sixth grade; require schools to maintain a record of screening upon school enrollment; require children who screen positive to receive a full diagnosis within 90 days and permit religious and conscientious exemption for screening; require the cabinet to report on the plan by October 1, 2010; define "autism, spectrum disorders."
