Summary of Original Version Create new sections of KRS Chapter 197, relating to prisons, to permit the Department of Corrections to operate a Prison Industries Enhancement (PIE) program in which the labor of prisoners is leased to private entities to make products and perform services for private employers; create a commission to oversee the activities of the program.
