Summary | Direct the Division of Oil and Gas Conservation to promulgate administrative regulations relating to tank batteries within 2 years of the effective date of the Act; specify what must be included in the administrative regulations; transfer $500,000 each fiscal year from the petroleum storage tank environmental assurance fund to the oil and gas well plugging fund for the purpose of remediating tank batteries and associated pits; clarify that placement of power lines to be installed in order to support oil and gas operations must be included in operations and reclamation proposals; and clarify that placement of power lines to be installed in order to support oil and gas operations must be considered by mediators when determining the reasonable use of the surface by the well operator. |
