Summary of Original Version Create new sections of KRS Chapter 174 to create a Passenger Rail Transportation Advisory Board to advise the executive and legislative branches of government on matters pertaining to passenger rail transportation; provide for appointment of members and for terms of office; prohibit payment for board members and for reimbursement of expenses; provide for a chair and vice chair appointed by the members; provide for quarterly meetings and attach to the Transportation Cabinet for administrative purposes; prescribe duties for the board; provide for initial terms of office.
