Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 159.150 to provide that if a student has a documented autism spectrum disorder and an individualized education program or treatment records that indicate that the nature of the disability may reasonably necessitate school absences or tardiness, then his or her absences or tardiness for more than three days per year shall be considered validly excused, and the student shall not be reported as truant.
