Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 281.600 to exempt commercial motor vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross vehicle combined weight rating of 26,000 pounds or less, that are not engaged in interstate commerce, are not transporting hazardous materials, and are not designed or used to transport 16 or more passengers, from the federal safety regulations in 49 C.F.R. parts 391, 393 and 396.
