Summary of Original Version | Create new sections of KRS Chapter 237 to state legislative findings; set forth relevant sections of the Constitution of the United States, Amendments to the Constitution of the United States, and decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States, relating to the right to keep and bear arms; provide that the General Assembly is concerned about possible federal contravention of rights guaranteed under the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; specify that the Commonwealth of Kentucky does not recognize federal statutes, regulations, and other actions which deny or abridge the right to keep and bear arms; require the General Assembly to take action to protect constitutional rights. |
