Summary of Original Version Propose to amend Section 145 of the Constitution of Kentucky to restore the right to vote to persons convicted of a felony after service of their sentence, expiration of probation, or final discharge from parole, unless the offense was treason, intentional murder, rape, sodomy, sexual abuse of a child, bribery in an election, or another crime specified by the General Assembly; delete language in the 1891 Constitution referring to persons as "idiots and insane persons"; submit to the voters for ratification or rejection.
